– Easter Bunny Treat Box Pack
– Easter Chick Treat Box Pack
Each free printables pack consists of two A4 pages
-
Print the template sheets on 200gm card, white for the bunny and yellow for the chick.
-
Cut out each box element with your craft knife.
_
Score each fold line very lightly with the ‘back’ of the craft knife blade so that you get crisp corners and folds.
Start gluing the tabs down – I find it easier to glue one tab at a time and hold it in position for a few seconds so it aligns perfectly to the edges. The glue that seems to be recommended quite a bit online for papercraft is Uhu – it is great for sure, if a bit stinky!! defo not a glue for kids – I found pritt stick works just a well.
-
Keep gluing the tabs, two sides and four on the base until you have a pretty square treat box. The tabs are labelled on the template so it’s all very intuitive as to what tab glues to where – just make sure not to glue the lid closed… you need to fill it with sweeties yet :)
-
Now it’s time to add the little 3D details…. the elements that add the awwwww factor
– Wings, Comb and Beak for the Chick
– Paws, Easter Egg, and Ears for the Bunny
For all it’s just a case of cut, fold and stick.
-
-
Don’t forget to add the bunny tail, I made a quick white wool pom pom but you can use a store bought fluffy pom pom too.
-
Happy treat box making
Michelle
xx
(and remember stay tuned for more themed treat boxes….soonest I promise)
